BMW X1 Concept Teaser Video Released!

Automakers are just dying to tease us at this year’s Mondial De L’Automobile show in Paris. The latest car manufacturer to release some sort of teaser is BMW that just launched a cryptic video confirming our inside report that it will indeed present a concept version of its forthcoming entry-level SUV model, the X1, at next month's Paris Show. The production version of BMW’s baby SUV which will compete against the likes of the Toyota RAV4 and VW Tiguan is expected to arrive in global markets by late 2009 or early 2011. Chrysler Grand Voyager 25th Anniversary Edition

Celebrating its minivan’s 25th anniversary, Chrysler decided to rock the foundations of the Paris Motor Show by unveiling a special, one-of-a-kind, unique etc, etc, edition of the Grand Voyager. The “25th Anniversary Edition” special model that will be available for international markets beginning in early 2009 is distinguished by the new 17-inch alloy wheels, chromed belt and body-side moldings, and a roof rack with cross bars. Interior appointments include French-stitched (sic) leather seats and dark accents along with heaps of badges just so you don't ever forget that you bought a special edition version of the Grand Voyager. -Continued

Fiat to Launch 500 “F1 Limited Edition” at the Singapore GP

We’ve lost track of how many limited or special edition versions of the new 500 that Fiat has introduced into the market the past few months, but we reckon that the ‘F1 Limited Edition’ that will make its debut at the Singapore Grand Prix along with the ‘Ferrari Special edition’ will be the most sought after. Overall, Fiat built just 12 examples of the 500 F1 Limited Edition all of which have been pre-booked by selected customers from Singapore. -Continued

Fiat said that apart from the racing livery, the limited edition 500s are enhanced with custom features and chrome trim without giving any further details.The 500 F1 Limited Edition will be shown to the public for the first time before the Singapore Grand Prix qualifying rounds on 27 September when various celebrities will get behind the wheel of the 12 cars driving them around the race track.
