Geneva Preview: 2009 Maserati GranTurismo breaks cover
Now, this is not a “broken embargo” situation to answer your first question. As we reported on the weekend, Maserati would unveil the first details of the car on the 20th of February –its well over 12:00am in Europe . Still though, since Maserati hasn’t officially posted anything in its press site so all we have for now is the three pictures featuring the Pininfarina penned and 1954 Maserati A6 GCS inspired, body plus a few, unverified details. So, from what we know, the GT’s replacement is based on a shortened version of the Quattroporte’s platform and using a slightly upgraded of the latter’s 4.2-liter V8 pushing out 407Hp (from 400). We’ll have more on the GranTurismo later on.
