Porsche Panamera: New Gallery with 44 High-Res Photos including Interior, Plus Performance Specs and Pricing

Porsche's controversially styled Panamera sports sedan continues to be revealed with a new batch of official pictures that give us our first look of the car's interior while the German automaker also released pricing and performance figures for the naturally aspirated and turbocharged V8 versions. The first thing that captured our attention in the Panamera's cabin is of course the upper and lower part of the centre console which is adorned with myriad of buttons. Its styling seems conspicuously similar to a Vertu cell phone.

2010 Porsche PanameraThe four-door gran-turismo's interior can accommodate up to four passengers, each of which get individual sports seats. Buyers can choose from a total of 13 color and material combinations including four bi-colour options teaming up wherever required with seven optional interior trim finish styles including exclusive materials such as Carbon and Olive Nature open-pore wood

The luggage compartment capacity in the Panamera S and 4S is 445 litres or 15.6 cu ft, while in the Turbo, 432 litres or 15.1 cu ft. With the rear seat backrests tilted down, luggage capacity increases to a sufficient 1,250 liters or 43.8 cu ft.

When the Panamera hits Porsche's showrooms in Septemeber, it will be initially available with V8 power units only, featuring either rear or all-wheel drive. The entry-level Panamera S which will be priced in Germany from €94,575 ($122,300 US) is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.8-litre V8 developing 400HP. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels by a 6-speed manual gearbox or an option, by Porsche's seven-speed double-clutch PDK transmission.

2010 Porsche PanameraThe Panamera S can go from zero to 100 km/h (62mph) in 5.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 283 km/h or 176 mph. Combined fuel consumption to the EU5 standard, in turn, is 10.8 lt/100 km, equal to 26.2 mpg imp, and the CO2 emission rating is 253 g/km.

The four-wheel-drive Panamera 4S features the same 4.8-litre V8 developing 400HP With the double-clutch gearbox, the 4S can accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds, and has a top speed of 282 km/h or 175 mph. Fuel consumption to the EU5 standard is 11.1 lt/100 km, equal to 25.4 mpg imp, CO2 emissions are 260 g/km. The retail price in Germany is €102,251 ($132,300).

2010 Porsche PanameraSitting at the top of the range is the Panamera Turbo that features a 4.8-litre V8 bi-turbocharged developing maximum output of 500HP with power transmitted again by Porsche's seven-gear double-clutch gearbox. In this case, the all-wheel-drive model accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 303 km/h or 188 mph. Fuel consumption in the EU combined cycle is 12.2 lt/100 km or 23.2 mpg imp with CO2 emissions of 286 g/km. The Panamera Turbo will be priced in Germany from €135,154 ($174,850).
