There’s a good possibility that 77-year-old Ron Billingham from the UK could be Subaru’s oldest and most loyal Impreza turbo fan. But even if it is proven that Ron doesn’t hold that title, we have to give him props for maintain his youthful spirit when it comes to buying cars even though he’s only a few steps away from his 80th birthday. Just a few days ago, Ron became one the first new owners in the UK of the 2008 Impreza WRX STI that packs a 300 Hp ‘boxer’ engine giving a theoretical 155 mph top speed and 0-60 mph time of 4.8 seconds.

Ron has previously owned six sporty Subaru’s, including limited edition Imprezas such as the ‘WR1’ and last year’s ‘RB320’ in memory of the late rally ace Richard Burns.
